Me Benoit Massicotte was admitted to the Quebec Bar in the district of St-François in 2002 and founded his firm under the name Thivierge Massicotte, lawyers before joining forces with Me Bélanger in 2011 to found the firm Bélanger Massicotte, lawyers & tax specialists in Sherbrooke.
Me Massicotte has developed during his years of practice, his skills as a litigator and representation in carrying out his numerous mandates in civil, corporate (disputes between shareholders) and family (divorce and custody & alimony) law. Being an entrepreneur, Me Massicotte recognizes the concerns of business people and knows how to advise his clients by being concerned with the calculation of the cost versus the chances of winning of each case.
Following his field of interest, Me Massicotte completed his graduate degree in taxation at the University of Sherbrooke in 2010 and has since carried out mandates in tax litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, business law and in civil law. In addition, having acquired the recognition and respect of his peers, Me Massicotte was involved for several years with the Bar of St-François, being an advisor for several years and then president of the bar from 2015 to 2017. In addition to his volunteer involvement with various organizations, since 2019 he has sat on the Board of Directors of the Association des avocats et avocats du Québec (APAAQ) as a representative of the district of St-François. Me Massicotte is recognized for his care and his devotion to his clients.
