Leanne was born and raised and has practiced in Saskatchewan her entire career. She received her Political Studies degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995 and subsequently, her law degree in 1998. After completing her articles in Prince Albert in 2000, Leanne returned to Saskatoon and has been practicing family law ever since. Leanne has assisted clients in a variety of cases including disputes involving child custody and parenting, child support, spousal support, division of property between married and common-law couples, contested and uncontested divorces, step-parent adoptions, mobility (move-away) requests, and Prenuptial/Postnuptial Agreements. Having practiced family law for over 20 years, Leanne has had much experience at all levels of court in Saskatchewan, including Chambers applications, Pre-Trial Conferences, Trials and Appeals. She is a trained Mediator, Arbitrator and Parenting Coordinator and offers Legal Coaching and Unbundled (partial) services.
Outside the office, Leanne is a parent to two active children, is a former member of the Board of Directors for Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) recently retired from the Board of Directors for SaskTel Centre, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan (WESK) and the Board of Directors for the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association as the Editor of the Advocate Magazine. She is a member of ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Saskatchewan, NSBA, Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan and Prairieland Park and was a 2018 Women of Distinction nominee.
